Dont they do this already? Its called an All-In-One PC... do you live in a cave? lol.. HP has tons, so does DELL. I would make my own, but I don't own a shop to put that shit together making my own case. Right now im forced to use cases that are supplied to me. The PC, would take 11 years to catch up with Windows 95, and that was the first year PC started to come standard with a sound board inside. Well I don't use microsoft or apple but viruses mirror the market. There is no point in making viruses for mac because it wont spread fast. Microsoft has more experience in working against viruses than Apple. If Apple takes the majority of the market I think they would prove to me just as weak as ms has been. The recent viruses for Apple were only made to prove to people that Mac isn't immune. No computer is immune. Even a computer without an OS isn't immune! Ever seen a Linux virus?

Yes, they actually had the capability of doing fan cooling, it's just that Steve Jobs didn't want one in the Macintosh, for sakes of it being attractive, meaning quiet. Also, my dad was a humongous mac fan, and he owned so many macs you couldn't count them. And, almost half of them failed. So it turns out, he had two of almost every mac that he used to have.

From the 1980s came the necessity of adding a fan due to how powerful personal computers came. Please name your source to where exactly 1/2 of Macintosh personal computers failed from 1984. Hey, wait there! Just to clarify, the new Macs aren't exactly true "PC Clones". They don't have a BIOS (they have EFIs), nor PICs and IBM legacy stuff. They can't run DOS and Windows runs over an emulation layer. While I agree that the IBM architecture is commercially viable, I don't see it as ingenious as the original Apple II or Macintosh 68k/PPC architecture. It is messy and you have to go trough three different processor modes just to use 64 bits.

I find it ironic that Apple now makes PC clones and markets them as Macs(and their PC clones are better than their old "macs" which weren't PC clones). any mainstream personal computer on the market is now a PC clone. IBM's original design scales well and it's been a success. you can say what you want about software(Mac OSX is a solid OS), but hardware wise, PCs are now king simply because PPC is dead(what older macs used), sparc is dead, and nothing else is really viable anymore.

Macs arnt shit. Windows is better for business crap, Macs are better for media types, i agree with you there. I would never use MS Office, i hate it, its terrible and over-priced especially as you can get a free software that does the exact same thing. Plus, you can save documents in Apple/Mac software to work on Windows/Microsoft software.

Actually Macs are shit thats the truth, as if businesses are ever going to switch from PC to mac (except of course for journalists media types etc, which i will amit macs are more suited too) however for the more corporate and everday use and functionality there is no comparison I mean most macs use a version of MS office on them or a package thaat can save files as MS extension names becasue of the fact that most people use MS and it would be riduculous as nobody uses Macs.

What ever you do, do NOT look into Macintosh APIs in Windows versions 1 & 2. Many of these APIs were not even used, but they were there. Have you ever read about the signed agreement between MS & Apple that was only supposed to cover Windows 1? The head of the Windows project at MS was ALSO the head of Macintosh development. Man, where to start... Simply put, most of what you see in Mac OS X was introduced by NeXT Step and later OpenStep. UNIX and Later Linux windowing systems became more robust AFTER NeXT Computer introduced their version of a BSD windowing system. Mac OS X is the direct descendant of NeXT Step. Look up screenshots of OpenStep and you will see where a lot of MS "original" ideas for the Win 95 interface came from. BTW, FreeBSD and Mach are not user interfaces...

Because they saw how retarded they were in making such a needlessly complicated OS. They ripped off just about everything that made Mac's interface so unique and slapped their name on it. this was in the 90s, command promt was common knowledge and it was highly used at the time. windows 3.1 was designed like that for a reason, windows 95 was much easier to use yet you can still fully use commands just the same as you did in 3.1

Most macs use OLDER Technology than a modern desktop, you just have to look at the specs to see that. I could build a computer with the same specs as a £1000 mac for just over £400. As for giving mac Directx that would be the same as giving linux directx as mac's base system is linux. Which one would people choose? A £600 windows system, a £500 linux system or a £1000 mac system (assuming all had directx)

The startup sounds on computers don't change no matter what OS you have...it depends on the Motherboard. The first one is on Mac Plus/SE 2nd is on SE/30 3rd is on IIx (i think) 4th is the Quadras and LCs 5th is Power Mac 5200 6th is Power Mac 6100 7th is Power Mac 5400 8th is Power Mac G3 9th is all the newer ones (iMac, eMac, etc.)
