If you actually eat just that and exercise as much as you say, you will start to lose weight, if you're not already. Another important thing to consider is portion size. You might be eating the right foods, but you also might be eating too much of it. While I was losing weight myself, I noticed that I didn't have a good enough lunch, so when it was time for dinner, I ate too much. Really look into portion sizes.

Third: Callories are overrated worry about ur carb, sugar and sodium intake. Fourth: Speed up your metabolism. (you achieve it by eating 6 times a day every 2.5 -3 hours. Basically I used to eat whole oats or more sweet potatoes... then i substituted both for a week for oat bran and noticed my muscles looked more defined, better skin etc... I agreen with most of the concepts here but - not sure I agree with the red meat though. Who's to say that what we were eating in the stone age was wrong or could be dramatically improved. Everything we eat is a double edge sword - one must look for the net benefit ratio I believe. For example Salmon contains PCB but also Omega 3 which is a wonder fat by the sound of it.

I will eat the occasional spud, & I love lima beans, but all dairy is loaded with casein, an industrial glue (Elmer's). Dairy, wheat gluten, corn syrup & soy (super glue) all coat the villi in your small intestine. In my opinion MOST of the diet recommendations for type 2 diabetics are insane. The majority of diet recommendations are for between 40-55% of the calories from CARBS. To me, that is similar to a doctor recommending to someone with badly arthritic knees, train for a marathon. I think that if a doctor recommends that type of diet, they must buy into government propoganda or want to sell a lot of diabetes medication. On a low carb diet you can have normal blood sugar in weeks if not days.
