Steve Jobs and Steve Woiznack were first going to take their (UNIQUE) operating system to HP (hewartt-packard) but HP refused so they founded Apple. The name was also completely random lol. Personally i think Windows sucks. Microsoft keeps trying to expand it's software onto/into things that are completely useless and won't go in a direction after that. Microsoft has completely screwed up on windows.

I would like to deny that, but you're right. There Censorship and Digital Restrictions Management are outrageous. Apple is a hardware and software manufacturer and should stay neutral towards there users. If you want naked chicks on your Iphone or use your own profider, they should have no authority about that. @genestarwindjf80 Who cares about Video on a mp3 player? Most useless feature in the world. The only good iPods are the Nano and the Shuffle but both are WAY too expensive. They look great, feel great and have a clickwheel but other players offer better audio quality for a lot less money and work without iTunes. The only good product lines Apple has today are the Macs and the iPhone. All the iPods are useless and I won't judge the iPad till I've touched it but it's not very promising.

Even if some ideas of windows vista, and the last release (windows 7) there are some copies at all. But apple knows microsoft is better. Microsoft is on top, with windows, adobe, macromedia, xbox 360, intel. All microsoft developments projects work perfect. The Mac comes with Bootcamp which I suppose you can say is "other software" but it is nothing more that a tool that makes the process of partitioning your drive and installing everything VERY easy. To answer your question. No I don't think that. On the contrary because your logic is completely backwards. A Mac is the ONLY machine out there that can run every OS 100% natively (again without hacking your machine). A PC cannot. The parts are no different and in MANY cases they are inferior. The advantage Apple has over MS and what allows them to make a more stable OS and reliable working environment is the fact that they configure the hardware and make the OS for that hardware. MS cant!

Well that is not the correct definition of "natively". For instance [using your example], a PC cannot run OSX natively. What that means is that you have to hack your machine and jump through some hoops in order to do so and if you CAN happen to get it to boor, it STILL is not reliable, stable or 100% compatible with the hardware and perifs. It is not "native" because it was not meant to run on that hardware as opposed to running Windows on a Mac which as native as any PC. cont.

Even if OSX cannot run .exe files natively (which I really don't want to because that is how many viruses are spread on PCs but anyhow) The Mac CAN run windows natively. Once booted into Windows (or running simultaneously through Parallels, etc.) you CAN run .exe files just fine. So, given all these facts, the Mac clearly CAN play games. In fact, just as many as a PC can which should really answer your question quite definitively. Any more questions?

You gotta remember, this was before there WAS wireless. You transferred data by "beaming" via infrared ports, which all Mac laptops had at that time. It was sort of a wireless workaround. Newton was really ahead of its time. It will be interesting to see if Apple's new tablet has handwriting recognition along with keyboard input.

Jai guru deva ohm. It's Hindi. My husband's native language is Hindi and he interpreted those words for me. It's quite deep and very beautiful - It means: "I respectfully greet the greatest teacher of all - the true self." Jai = Honorable, Sir Guru = Teacher deva = the best of the best Ohm = Me, Myself (+my most inner self, my true self) Neat, huh? Well to me it is anyways. Makes me love this song even more.
