Actualy i doupt that there was no reason. The theories about what giygas is and what his motives are collide a lot. I think Giygas was, when ness fought against him, in a state between being dead and newborn. However, in the story its said he is an overpowered soul that lost its mind and is forced to exist in endless suffering. I believe killing Giygas set an end to his agony and gave him the rest he needed and, somewhere deep inside him, wanted

Holy crap, that's too good to be called a remix. Why the hell can't I find a site to download this? Sonic Team hasn't made a game epic enough for this music, really.
